The Marin County
Office of Education with the support of the Marin Association of
Realtors coordinates both the Regional Spelling Bees as well as the
Elementary Spelling Bee Championship for grade 4-6 students for
Marin County. Elementary students first participate in school
competitions, and then advance to the Regional Competition. The
number of spellers who will advance to the County Spelling Bee
Championship will be determining by the number of participants from
each region as follows:
If thera are more
than 31 participants, 7 spellers will advance to the County
