

McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act
The Marin County Office of Education has received a McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act grant for the 2009-2010 school year. The focus this year will be to evaluate Marin County student needs, provide direct services to students and to collect information essential to extending services to families and schools.
The MCOE McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act Grant will fund the following activities:
- Identification of homeless children/youth/families in need in Marin County
- Contact information for the district liaisons for homeless youth
- Marin County Homeless Advisory Group
- Marin County Community Resource Guide
- Coordination of services to families by assisting families with regulations, their rights and support available to them such as transportation, academics and tutoring. The following links are four posters for you to display:
