The Marin County BTSA Induction Program is a countywide program that provides beginning teachers with two years of job-embedded structured support based on the Santa Cruz New Teacher Center Formative Assessment System (FAS). The formative assessment tools help new teachers examine and improve teaching practices, understand the school community, and learn about their students. The program provides a smooth transition into the complex responsibilities of teaching, increases the retention of teachers, and improves learning opportunities for students.

Our Mission: A quality induction program for all beginning teachers and a caring, competent and highly qualified teacher for every child.
